Ashphodel Week 3 Development


Modelling

We had a slower week this week for modeling with only two minor models getting completed. the first being our first melee weapon a pipe wrench.

The Second model was for our key cards the base of the model is the same but i have interchangeable textures for all the different colors.

Overall these were two semi-important models for out project.


Demo Scene

We made a demo/testing scene this week that help us test our various functions as well as displays the current working functions of our game currently we have implemented our key-cards with a working door as well as all our ammo types models still needed. the cameras can also be switched with the "Q" and "E" keys and when you enter a new room it switches the set of cameras available.





Movement

We also this week introduced movement to our game this was done by using a nav-mesh and a nav-mesh agent to specify what can be walked on (the floors) and the obstacles on the map (the walls)

Dialogue

Lastly we have sorted out all the issue in our dialogue system with it being fully functioning now after fixing some issues with co-routines. This allows for more in-depth story telling and character building.
