Asphodel
In this short Prototype for Asphodel, you control Colin Scott, an engineer sent to explore a derelict space station in hopes of recovering a package for the mysterious GM corporation. Things aren’t all as they seem though: Colin is deaf so he is reliant on his gravely wounded captain, Shelly Saverin to guide him through the twisted corridors of the Asphodel. Also, noises are coming from the walls, and they don’t sound particularly friendly…
CONTROLS
LMB will move Colin around the station.
Holding RMB will direct Colin to take aim at a target, from here you can press LMB again to fire.
Q & E will switch between the available cameras for a room.
PROTOTYPE INFORMATION
There are 4 keycards of varying colours to collect.
Ammo is scarce but can be found by exploring the environments.
Once you have reached the dialogue at the end of floor 3, you have completed the currently available content.
Player Assets and weapon models/textures were created by the development team. Environment assets and textures were used through the unity asset store and other free licensing storefronts. All sound effects were taken from freesound.org and have been approved for use by the respective rights holders.
From the development team (Tiny Appletini) to you (The Player) we’d like to sincerely thank you for trying out our game, and we hope you are able to appreciate the effort we have put in over the course of 6 weeks. While this is a prototype that is far from a full release, we believe it showcases a good foundation of what we are capable of.
